We are proud to announce Mike West as our new President and CEO of Century Tile! He will be taking over Fred Schmidt’s position. The two have been working together for the last few weeks during this transitional period. Schmidt is retiring so let’s all wish him a happy retirement—we will all miss him.

Century tile this year celebrates the 65^th anniversary of its founding. The company was founded in 1947 as Century Supply Company by high school friends Frank Parks Sr.and Paul Spiewak. The partners placed ads in the local newspaper of their Chicago neighborhood. They went to customers’ homes, measured, sold and delivered the tile, giving instructions on how to install it.
